X-Treme Freeze Pain Relieving Cold Therapy Gel is a topical cream used to relieve pain. The user will get relief from minor aches and pains of sore muscles and joints. It is an effective remedy for such conditions as arthritis, backache, strains & sprains. X-Treme Freeze is comparable to such products as Icy Hot & Bengay but it has more Menthol then either of those two products. X-treme freeze packs 4% menthol as an active ingredient which is more comparable to products like BioFreeze. The advantage of X-Treme is that you get the same effect but at much better price!
What is Menthol and why is it effective at relieving pain?
Menthol is a natural anesthetic found in the peppermint plant. It is a cooling agent but the irony is that the cooling is not necessarily the reason behind it’s effectiveness on decreasing pain. A study published in the journal Current Biology indicates that the menthol triggers a protein in the skin which blocks the nerve signals associated with chronic pain to the brain. Since X-Treme Freeze packs 4% menthol it does a better job at blocking pain.

Directions for use:
