SoftWave Electro-Hydraulic Shockwave for Pelvic Floor Rehab

SKU:

Rehab clinicians can now unlock the potential of cutting-edge innovation with SoftWave, a groundbreaking tissue regeneration technology designed to accelerate the healing process and restore vitality to your body.  The system uses a patented electro-hydraulic applicator to deliver a soundwave into the body traveling in excess of 300 miles per hour that can reach up to six inches in depth.  The result is Mechanotransduction which creates increased blood flow, decreased inflammation and pain while tricking the body to send stem cells to the affected area to promote healing.

SoftWave addresses a wide spectrum of medical needs, ranging from orthopedic injuries to pelvic health concerns.  In the realm of pelvic health, SoftWave is rapidly gaining popularity. Supported by numerous completed studies, it remains a top choice among pelvic health practitioners.

What is shockwave?

We have all heard of shockwaves in the environment.  Whether originating from a lightening strike or volcanic eruption or other uncontrolled shockwave phenomena in our natural world. Back in the 1980’s a high intensity controlled, shockwave device was developed to break up kidney stones in the body (Lithotripsy).  The best part is that the procedure was non-invasive and the recuperation time was substantially less then previous surgical interventions.  Lithotripsy is currently used in 90% of all kidney stone patients in the USA.

Now in its second evolution the development of a Low Intensity Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy(LiESWT) is now available to rehabilitative medicine.  Rehab clinicians can now unlock the potential of cutting-edge innovation with SoftWave, a groundbreaking tissue regeneration technology designed to accelerate the healing process and restore vitality to your body. Engineered with precision and backed by years of scientific research, SoftWave is the epitome of advanced medical solutions.

How does it work?

The system uses a patented electro-hydraulic applicator to deliver a soundwave into the body traveling in excess of 3000 miles per hour that can penetrate six inches into the body allowing it to reach deeper tissue.  This specially designed applicator also delivers a broadly focused beam of energy covering more ground then a focused shockwave device.  Simply put, treatments take less time and less shocks compared to similar devices.

At the cellular level, SoftWave penetrates the cell membrane, leading to a 2% contraction and 10% expansion of the cell, a phenomenon known as Mechanotransduction. This process creates a perception of trauma without causing any actual tissue damage, initiating the activation of the body’s natural defense mechanisms. This leads to reduced inflammation, enhanced blood flow, and the elimination of toxins, thereby promoting the activation of stem cells after treatment.  A brief explanation can be found by clicking here.

Radial vs. Electrohydraulic Acoustic Shockwave

Frequently mistaken for Shockwave devices, Radial machines on the market often lead to patient discomfort and a wait of up to two weeks before any relief is felt. Moreover, Radial devices can induce micro/macro-trauma, making them less than ideal for pelvic floor applications.

SoftWave, an Electrohydraulic Broadly Focused device, induces no micro trauma and yields superior results for patients while promoting the body’s natural innate healing processes. With its patented applicator featuring a flashlight head, SoftWave enables broad-focused penetration of up to 6 inches. It stands as the sole genuine shockwave solution capable of reaching wide and deep areas, making it ideal for pelvic floor treatment.
